委內瑞拉總統下令將黃金運回本國

委內瑞拉總統計畫將海外的211噸黃金(110億美元)轉移至本國央行金庫及63億美元的海外現金儲備轉移至新興國家的銀行.  另外, 還計劃將國內黃金的勘探和提煉交由政府負責, 將黃金產業國有化.

Venezuela has about 211 tons of its 365 tons of gold reserves held abroad at institutions including the Bank of England, JPMorgan, Barclays Plc, Standard Chartered Plc and the Bank of Nova Scotia , according to a government document.
Some cash reserves, which total $6.3 billion, will be shifted into currencies from emerging markets including China, Russia, Brazil and India,central bank President Nelson Merentes said today at a news conference.
